There's no place like Bourbon St
DJ's, drag, and go-go dancers, oh my! A trip to NOLA isn't complete without a night at Oz, the city's best gay dance club.

Great Dancefloor with Boxes

I love dancing at this club WHEN they are playing good music although the DJ does not like taking requests much. They DO NOT take credit cards and the bartenders are not the happiest on the planet. Other than that its a great place just to dance and let loose.

Not so much hot, anymore!

if you close your eyes and think of a bad gay club that needs an update than you have OZ. Plus drinks were over priced for how weak they are.

I love Oz

I visited Oz during Mardi Gras, and I love this club. The music is fantastic. The drink is great. The go go boys are extremely hot. It was packed with people going in and out of the clubs. I was amazed to see how many straight women were seeing go go boys for the first time. The cover charge for Oz is 5 dollars at night which is 5 dollars cheaper than the Bourbon Pub and Parade across the street. The balcony is also one of the best places to throw beads at the crowds. My only disappointment is the bathroom stall in the men's room does not have any door.

amazing!

@scorpiomale it probably was because it was a monday. my first time was on a friday and as the title says it was AMAZING! the fuller the crowd the better the music. this club is full of energy an as for it being to gay? its a gay club... the drink prices are a bit high but during certain hours they have good deal. we also went recently on a thursday for the male strip off and even though there werent that many people it was still so much fun. the show was everything i expected. funny, entertaining, HOT HOT HOT! personally... I CANT WAIT TO GO BACK!!!

Boring....boring...and more BORING

Ok...Maybe it was because I went to OZ on a Monday night (11/8). Could it have been any more BORING!!! The place was practically empty and the music was too damn GAY for me. Hey Oz..The word is VARIETY. You should try to play music that caters to ALL ethnic backgrounds. After all, this is New Orleans. The drinks were overrpiced and weak. I ordered a Jack Daniels w/coke and lime and watched in disgust to see 85 percent of it was Coke. I shook my head as the bartender poured. I'm sure the only between difference between a Monday vs. Friday is more people. I finally couldn't take that CHAPPY, GAY music and went to party at the straight clubs. Oz..You need DIVERSITY!
